Shipping agency services for the delivery and installation of a dry dock’s gate at Bolshoy Kamen bay

Works on the agency services for the dry dock’s gate at Zvezda SBC were carried out in the spring of 2020 as part of construction completion of the largest dry dock in Russia. The uniqueness of the project consisted in the fact that delivery of the entire structure was carried out on the deck of a semi-submersible transport vessel. The works took place at the final stage of dock’s completion and was complicated by the need to install the gate in a narrow area, however, SDS Shipping specialists successfully discharged the gate using tugboats, berthed and then installed it in the waters of the Bolshoy Kamen bay.
